This Westinghouse Fan Master Jr. Non-Metallic Support Box allows you to safely attach a lighting fixture or ceiling fan to a building's structural support, so the ceiling fan is supported by the joist, not the box. Perfect for new construction, the Fan Master Jr. can be used in applications where duct work or wiring is present. Featuring a 13.4-cubic-inch wiring capacity on one side, the box can be mounted to either side of a ceiling joist without having to split the wiring. Install on standard joists as well as wider joists where a saddle style box will not fit. The Fan Master Jr. is UL listed for fixture support of 150 pounds or less, and has a maximum load roating for ceiling fans up 70 pounds. Works with any model of ceiling fan.
